Our Mission

To provide trauma informed services to individuals, youth, and families by addressing food insecurity, basic physiological needs, mental health challenges, and other obstacles to restore a safe and secure wellbeing.

About Us

Reassured Connections Inc. is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 tax exempt organization. Our aim is to link youth and families with essential community resources through specialized case management services. We assist individuals to overcome recurring patterns fostering their ability to thrive, feel validated, and achieve their personal goals.

Our Vision

The goal is to develop the following services:

  • Provide a comprehensive approach using specialized case management to meet the needs of individuals, youth, and families.

  • Address food insecurities throughout the community.

  • Develop a youth drop-in center with positive pro-social activities, provide essential needs, and a safe place for youth in transition.

  • Assist with preserving the lives of young mothers by providing nurturing educational skills to reverse systemic generational patterns for women of color.

  • Provide transportation services for women & children & youth in crisis.

Our Founder

Shelby R. Cunningham, MSW

Founder/Executive Director

Shelby, an alum of Fontbonne and Saint Louis Universities where she earned her Bachelor of Administration in Human Services and a Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in children and family. Shelby serves the Executive Director of Reassured Connections Inc, bringing over ten years of leadership experience in youth and mental health programs. Her deep passion for the safety and well-being of others drives the integrity of her work, as she humbly contributes as a servant addressing the needs of the community.
